Calderdale Council Waste and Recycling

Recycling in the centre of the village is collected each Tuesday morning with land-fill waste every second Tuesday.

Some outer areas, including Stocks Lane, are collected on Thursdays.

You are advised to review the conservation area appraisal and management plan before making a planning application.  The society reviews all relevant planning applications.

Many of the trees in the conservation area are covered by Tree Protection Orders (TPO).
If you wish to carry out any work on trees in the conservation area, you must contact the council beforehand.
